Facing Rock WMA in Ludlow , the terrain is hilly and rocky with a trail system .
This is only for the hardy since it is just a little over 2 miles in and out (4 + miles total) and the terrain is hilly but has a trail system that ATV's use (not suppose to) . You can bike, hike, walk your dog ,ski , snowshoe and just about anything that is non motorized .
Park at n42* 12.061 w72*27.401 (Bridle rd in Ludlow) . The first piece is a stake then you have a decision to make which way to go (an easy decision now but wait till later) . The second is a disk (this is a two for one deal here) now you need to fill in the blanks with the dates #1 (abbd) #2 (acef) (multiply e x2 and divide f in half) 42,a2.2d0,-72,2e.7cf,this will get you to the final piece . While you're at the disk enjoy the view and bring a camera and binos . Now be careful how you get to the final there are two ways but one has a water hazard (about 8-10 inches deep) SO GO LEFT and follow the other power lines when you come down from the view . Now the cache is a 30 cal ammo in wood (the wood is hollow). This can be done in the winter and beware of hunters during hunting season .
