Geocache Description:

THIS IS A CHALLENGE CACHE. It IS located at the above coordinates, but to log this cache you must complete the requirements as outlined below.

I had so much fun going for Twigmeister’s 5 mile bubble challenge last summer (GC3HMJM) that I decided to keep going and clean out my 10 mile bubble area. I completed that this week (with a lot of help from my friends) and am now placing this challenge cache to honor others that are obsessed as I.

Actual difficulty level will depend on the center of your bubble.

Twigmeister lay down the challenge thusly:

“How big is your caching bubble?
How far is too far to go for a FTF?
How close is close enough that you will continuously search and worry until the cache is found?”

5 miles? How about 10 miles?

The guidelines for this expanded version are similar to the original one-

To meet this challenge you must find all the caches (*minus one) in a ten mile bubble centered on one of the following: The cache nearest to your home, the cache closest to your zip code as centered on Geocaching.com's search function, or the cache closest to your town as centered on Geocaching.com's search function.
If you believe your bubble as listed above is too hard or too personal, then you may use SALEM or ONE OF SALEM’S ZIP CODES (visit link) for your center.

You don't have to find caches that are disabled at the time you submit evidence of your completing the challenge. You do have to find caches that are on your ignore list! Your bubble will be spot checked, especially any notorious caches.

If you cannot find a cache because of a lack of equipment, be it electronic, physical, or personal body limitations, then an exception may be granted with your explanation prior to logging the cache. (send me a note via my geocaching account) Some of us may not be able to climb certain trees, have Whereigo capabilities, Chirp capabilities, own a boat, etc. However you should make diligent effort to obtain help from your fellow cachers to find the caches.

Proof should consist of a screen shot of your search list.

Twigmeister lists the steps to take a screen shot on a PC on his original cache page. (visit link)
And here is a link to complete the task on a Mac: (visit link)

To clear my bubble and complete this challenge I logged 795 currently active caches. I solved puzzles, completed challenges, sent friends up trees (I don’t climb), cached on foot, by bike and by boat, including a ferry. I unearthed a cache that had not been found in over 2 years, traveled down to Eugene and up to Portland and had many adventures in between. How far will you go?

Many, many thanks to all who have made this possible, with a special shout out to the McGeesters who have aided me (my family might describe it as abetted me) time and time again through this journey.

Best of luck to my fellow travelers.

*What’s this minus one I speak of? Just that. You can pick one cache in your bubble you wish to exclude from this challenge. No questions asked, just include it in your screen shot.

Questions, concerns, clarification- feel free to contact me and we'll work something out.

Final Cache Location details: Difficulty 1 1/2, Terrain 1 1/2. DO NOT PARK ON WALLACE RD- look at the map and access via the side street. The landscaped area where the cache resides was planted by the nearby house. Please search gently.
