The easiest way to get to this cache is to walk in (or 4wd) from 30.11908 S 153.13478 E. If you do 4wd in from this point, turn right at 30.12393 S 153.13557 E and park on the errotion mounds before the big tree as the track gets very steep and there is no easy way out. If you turn left at this point, there is only a short climb down the gully, to the cache, but be warned, the country is very, very steep and you will need to use hands and feet. The next easiest way would be to 2wd to 30.11928 S 153.15048 E and follow the walking trail to the west. After the spectacular waterfall it is hard going and you basically follow the pipeline. If you are into extreme 4wd'ing and have a prepared group of 2 or more vehicles with recovery gear and winches, enter via 30.1239 S 153.12103 E and hold onto your Hat. Another extreme 4wd (sorry this route is now GATED OFF) starts at 30.11952 S 153.15118 E and follows a ridge around before dropping down a steep hill to the creek near the cache. To go this way enter the track at the point shown, turn right up the power lines, turn left at the top, follow trail to T intersection, then turn right. Extreme caution is required before attempting the decline. Basically you are a passenger and most vehicles slide down the hill.
Under no circumstances should anyone attempt to drive to the bottom of the gully alone and in an unprepared vehicle. A winch is essential even during dry weather. I have seen a Lancruiser 100 seies with new 33" mud terrain tyres and twin diff locks stuck at the bottom. If you drive to the creek and can not get out, my mobile number is on the cache and I will assist if possible. Please enjoy finding this cach and please stay safe following the instuctions above to a T.
