This is one of four virtual caches we noted in our recent visit to
Cyprus. They all have something in common.
You can drive most of the way to this one on the road to the
Akamas peninsula. Park in the taverna car park and walk the rest of
the way.
The cache is one of only a few man made objects and stands alone
form a group of similar structures.
To record your visit e-mail me number on the cache and the
animal that visits this area every year. Details can be found on
the adjacent notice board. UPDATE: The object had been destroyed so
no need now to e-mail for verification. Just enjoy being there!
Having found the cache why not enjoy the views from the terrace
of the taverna whilst enjoying a cooling drink. This cache was
originally placed by The Hornet, but I have taken it over as he
could no longer maintain it. Unfortunately since the cache was
first created the severity of the Cypriot weather eroded the
numbers on top, but it's still worth a visit if you're passing.
Instead of emailing me the number, how about posting a photo of
yourself there instead?
The Taverna food-wise is a bit hit and miss, but well worth a visit
for liquid refreshment.
