A small pill (vitamin) bottle with a log and some small collectables located at 6999’ above sea level.
Dunckley School #1 -- located just 1/10th mile northeast of here -- The county road was actually changed in the 1960s -- the old road went up what is now the driveway of Coyote Creek Ranch --. The school house sat on land owned by George Dunckley in the corner of the county road T.
According to the book “Windows to Yesterday” (Leslie, 1998), “The first school was probably built around 1889. It was located near the George Dunckley homestead in the center of the Dunckley community. This log school was also used for community gatherings and church services. As the center of the community changes, so did the location of the school.”
This cache MAY be accessible in the winter - but would depend on how deep the snow is -- in the spring, how deep the ditches are!
