Geocache Description:

A quick drive by cache, with chance for a pint if you've time!

This cache is named after a young lady who used to work for me...

As her wedding anniversary approached, she announced that she wanted to go away for the weekend, and did anybody know the name of that B&B pub you could see from the M62, on the way to Leeds. "It looks so cute when it's all lit up at night!"

Well that narrowed it down a bit, but after a bit of prompting, we managed to pin it down quite successfully.

What Emma failed to take on board was that the view from the B&B pub would be not quite so appealing: I've heard the M62 called many things, but never cute (or romantic).

Whenever I drive out that way, I chuckle and think of Emma: she did not need to dye her hair blonde...

You too can think of her as you make a quick drive by this cache: the box isn't huge, so leave any large cuddly TBs for another day, however it is ideally sized for (non-virtual) GeoCoin TBs!

Update 25/04/06: Having being archived in her stone tomb on Good Friday, Emma took a little more than the usual 3 days to rise a few meters and cross the road to her new home...She can now be reached from the road by all but the shortest of people. You do not need to move any stones, cemented or otherwise.

Furthermore, I have installed my lighthouse coin as a beacon to assist in finding the cache. This beacon shines out brightly until you are within a few inches of the box: Watch out for Emma winking at you every time you drive by on the M62! Please do not remove the beacon...

Please Note: Do not park in the pub car park, as that may constitute trespass; if you park on the road, be sure you are not causing an obstruction; and don't even think about parking on the grass verge as you will destroy the daffodils!
