Today, 16/12/2017, the other caches in the series were archived, mainly due to problems with them being muggled.
Southwater Country Park is located in Southwater, near Horsham. The site covers 90 acres, surrounding the large Cripplegate Lake in the centre. The Downs Link Bridleway crosses the park, and there are a variety of options to take for a longer, more challenging walk. Halfway around the lake is a large childrens' playground with a range of equipment suitable for all ages. Entry to the park and parking are free. At the main entrance there is a Visitor Centre, cafe and toilets which are open weekends, but may have limited opening during the winter. A wide range of watersports are available on the lake, including canoeing, sailing and windsurfing, and there is plenty of wildlife to spot.
PLEASE NOTE: Dog Owners: Between April and September all dog owners must keep their dogs on leads whilst walking in Southwater Country Park.
INFORMATION RELATING TO THIS SPECIFIC CACHE:
Locations for wheelchair accessible caches are few in this area, so this one was placed in spot that, sadly, does not enable wheelchair access :(
The container is a little smaller than a standard micro-sized container containing a log book only. Please make sure you replace the cache carefully when you leave it, so that it will not be accidentally spotted by muggles.
The difficulty rating is probably a bit low but, once set, it is not normally appropriate to alter the ratings as it can affect cachers' grids.
