Three Creeks Bluebell Trail Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

KBLAST: After looking back through the logs and thinking about the problems I've had with this cache and high water and such, I've decided to let this one go. I don't live in the immediate area anymore, and I'd love to open up the area for someone else to hide something here. Thanks to everyone for coming to find this while it was here!

Geocache Description:

This cache was placed in conjunction with the 10 years! Columbus celebration. Three Creeks Metro Park was named for the confluence where Alum Creek, Big Walnut Creek and Blacklick Creeks join in a 1,050-acre park and this cache was placed to draw visitors to the confluence.

Three Creeks Bluebell

The details of Three Creeks Metro Park can be found on http://www.metroparks.net/default.aspx. Please review this website for information about park hours of operation and review the associated detailed map of the park. Trail maps are also available within the park. The cache was placed at the best location possible for viewing this rare natural phenomenon. Park at the Confluence Trails Area parking lot off Bixby Road and head toward the woods where the Bluebell trailhead will come into view. Follow the clearly marked Bluebell Trail a very short distance downhill to the Confluence and then south along the trail to the cache. This cache was specifically placed to cause cachers to view the confluence itself, a unique photo opportunity and minimal bushwacking is required.

The cache itself is a tribute to Dave Ulmer and the very first geocache ever placed. It contains a logbook and pen. This Columbus Metro Parks Three Creeks Bluebell cache is placed with the permission of park management using Permit Number GCP 14-0008-10, a requirement for metro park caches.

CONGRATS TO CHIEF_OSCEOLA FOR FTF!!!
