A short stroll off the main road, parking on the right just after the coords. Don't go past the restricted sign. Placed with permission NYSOPRHP #9WENC.
Cache is a small tupperware conainer with a pencil, log and one of our hand painted geo coins for the first finder. If I were a chipmunk I would love to live here. This is placed close to the Minna Anthony Common Nature Center Museum on Wellesley Island.
There is a $6-7 park entrance fee from around Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. There is also a $2 toll for the 1000 Islands Bridge for anyone not living on Wellesley Island.
Please stop by the Nature Center Museum. It is free and there is a lot of information about the area and a hands on room for an added adventure, please sign in and mention geocaching. Hours are 10am-4pm.
