This event is one small part of the WWFM XI (World Wide Flash Mob event) coordinated and held in conjunction with the San Diego WWFM XI hosted by iTrax and FoxTail (Sonny & Sandy) at 10:00 on Saturday morning in California but although Australia is 17 hours ahead of Pacific Daylight Savings Time we are holding our event at a user friendly time of 10:00am Saturday 7 June 2014 instead of 3:00am on Sunday morning
If you are in Northern Tassie then please attend Rhinogeo's event WWFM XI LikeClockwork
AGENDA
Saturday!
0945 - 0958
Participants casually position themselves at various locations within a short walk of GZ but not within sight of GZ !!!
0958 - 1000
Casually make your way towards GZ but as much as you can, act like a muggle, pretend not to know each other or give any indication that something is about to happen but STAY AWAY from the top of the steps until your GPSr clock tells you it's 1000 EXACTLY 1000
Everyone arrives at GZ. Facitman will be there with an cache box. As you arrive, you will be handed a log sheet. Participants will sign the log sheets (which will later become the log book). To qualify for attendance, drop the completed logsheet back in the cache box
1000 - 1015
Mingle. Meet old friends and make new ones. Share stories. But be quick - there is not much time!
Participants assemble for the traditional WWFM group photos and to record the group cheerios
In keeping with the previous WWFMs there will be the opportunity for some lucky participant(s) to be win some geo-loot!
1015 Exactly
IMMEDIATELY LEAVE the area. The area will be evacuated without a trace. The log box will be packed up. If you didn't get to it in time you can't log the event. Only those participants whose names appear on the log sheets may log this event
If everything goes right we will have had people coming out of nowhere and gathering for 15 minutes, holding a geocaching event and then disappearing
For the Flash Mob to have its full effect, it must appear to come from nowhere and disappear just as quickly
Thanks everyone! A great turnout with 66 attendees!
