You can reach this geocache from the Loop Trail, without moving either of your feet off of the official Discovery Park trails. Please stay on the trails at all times so we can keep geocaching in this beautiful park. Most people in Seattle have walked trails in Discovery Park. But have you visited the trails in the SE sections of the park, with the children's playground and the Visitor's Center?
If you have time, I recommend you stop by the Visitor's Center. Although you do not need to go inside in order to find this cache, it's still worth a visit to learn more about the plants and animals that inhabit Discovery Park. Visitor Center Hours are Tuesday-Sunday 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Closed holidays.
