Geocache Description:

Stage 3 COVID lockdown in Ballarat. Probably good if you stay at home. Please do not approach GZ from the bowling club side of the hill. Welcome to No Overarm Bowling Allowed. This cache was created to help cachers earn souvenirs during the 2018 Hidden Creatures adventure, and to introduce a part of Ballarat to them they might not be aware of. GZ is on a steep wooded hill that provides an excellent view of the nearby Ballarat East Bowling Club. No overarm bowling is allowed at this club.

There might be long grass here, so one cannot ignore the possibility of snakes being in the vicinity when the weather is warm. Please dress appropriately.

The cache contains a log, a pen and a pencil, and some swag. Please remember the geocaching rule: Only take swag if you swap it for something of equal or greater value.

Please return the cache to its hiding place as you found it. If there are problems with the cache please contact me and I'll do maintenance.

With a volume of only 2 L this cache is classified as a Regular (M)* size.

There is safe, road-side parking not far from GZ.

I wonder if we'd find gold if the hill were removed? Until that happens, Happy Geocaching!

*Regular (M) containers are 1 – 20 L in volume so this 2 L cache is on the lower end of the scale for a Regular (M) sized cache.
