The Matterhorn (German), Monte Cervino (Italian) or Mont Cervin (French), is a mountain in the Pennine Alps on the border between Switzerland and Italy. Its summit is 4,478 metres (14,690 ft) high, making it one of the highest peaks in the Alps. Because of his prominant shape and his mountain climbing history is the Matterhorn one of the famous Pik in the world. For Switzerland it is a landmark and the most photographed tourist attraction.

Every year I spent a lot of time in Zermatt to go skiing, hiking or climbing.
At the coordinates you have a very nice view to the Matterhorn and the cache is just a few meters away from my relatives.

I would very appreciate to see your pictures with the matterhorn in your logs, but is not necessary.

Das Matterhorn (walliserdeutsch ds Hooru, italienisch Monte Cervino oder Cervino, französisch Mont Cervin oder Le Cervin) ist mit 4478 Metern Höhe einer der höchsten Berge der Alpen. Wegen seiner markanten Gestalt und seiner Besteigungsgeschichte ist das Matterhorn einer der bekanntesten Berge der Welt. Für die Schweiz ist es ein Wahrzeichen und die meistfotografierte Touristenattraktion.

Jedes Jahr verbringe ich viele Zeit in Zermatt, sei es zum Skifahren, Wandern oder Klettern.
An den Koordinaten hat man eine tolle Aussicht auf das Matterhorn und der Cache befindet sich nur wenige Meter von meinen Verwandten entfernt.

Es würde mich freuen Bilder vom Matterhorn in euren Logs zu sehen, aber es ist nicht nötig.
