An easily accessible walk along public footpaths to the south of Eynsham.
This is the first cache we have placed! There are a number of footpaths around the south and west of Eynsham, popular with families and dog walkers. The name comes from our son who dubbed this route from Station Road round to Chilbridge Road 'the walk by the firehouse' because you can see the Eynsham fire department training tower from the path. The walk can be accessed by parking on Station Road (be careful with geokids as traffic can be fast - despite being 30mph) and heading down the marked footpath. You can also do the walk in reverse by parking on Chilbridge Road (again take care with geokids). We encourage you to do the whole walk as the route is flat and not difficult However, the grass can be overgrown in places and some mud after heavy rain. Also, there are two kissing gates to negotiate, but we have managed to get our pram around successfully so we're calling the walk pushchair friendly. You could also park and do the short walk to GZ for a cash n' dash. The cache itself is a magnetic nano so you will need your own pen. Enjoy!
