I had in mind to plant a
cache on this little koppie for some time now. After the great
event at the Fountains Valley resort, I have decided to use this
location in honour of the previous weekend.
To gain access to this site
you need to make a prior arrangement and collect the key from
Dennis at 082-893-9380. He lives two houses on the left side of the
entrance, at 8 B Trevor St. He doesn't know about the cache so
"hiking" can be mentioned as reason for being
there.
As I gathered
from Dennis the place has been enclosed by the municipality about 4
years ago. Since then the area is safe and clean. Prior to that it
was becoming a squatter camp and a dumping
place.
Follow the path till you are in line with the
cache, continue another 20 to 30 m then you can get off the path on
your right. It will be easer to approach the cache from that
direction. Please place cache as found. After signing the log take
time and enjoy the scenery and the nature
around.
