Another 10 hours of paddling with a constant headwind and waves breaking over the bow. This is the last of the caches from my 8 day trip. The remaining days didn't seem to be worthy of a geocoin.
I placed caches at three of my campsites on a recent solo kayak trip from Seward to Whittier.
At each I left a 16 ounce Nalgene bottle with a logbook and various items that may be handy on a paddle of this nature.
The real prize is to get the “Extreme Geocoin” that I left in each cache. Northpeak’s Extreme Geocoins are being cached on some of my outdoor adventures. I only plan to leave them on worthy level 5 caches. Using the same or similar method of locomotion is preferred when claiming a coin but is not mandatory. Please replace the coin in another “extreme” location!
Since the challenge is just to get to the location, the hint describes the exact hiding place.
I’ve attached a photo of the view from each hide.
