It is good to set caching goals, that can be measured, in writing;
That is why numbers matter. Geocaching.com provides one's stats on their profile. A GSAK macro and Project-GC.com also provide additional statistical data. Reviewing one's statistics provides quantifiable feedback on how one is doing. Also it becomes the basis for measuring one's progress against a quantifiable goal.
Some of my written goals include: 1) Reach 10,000 accumulated finds by December 31, 2017; 2) Find 2 each Y2K placed caches, to fill 2 blanks on placed month matrix; 3) Find favorite point caches of 100 or more favorite points to reach goal of 300 caches, total, with 100 or more favorite points, by end of year,; 4) Maintain current daily find streak through end of year.
You will be looking for a dark plastic jar (2.5" diameter by 5" tall) hidden inside one of the man made objects. .
Consider stating one of your 2017 goals when you log your find.
Have a good caching year in 2017!!
