Geocache Description:


YMCA Camp Benson is part of a camping heritage that goes back to 1928.  Nestled on the banks of the Waukarusa River, since moving from Sterling, IL to Mount Carroll in 1957, Camp Benson has offered summer camp experiences rich in fun, friendships, learning and adventure.  A traditional summer camp for both boys and girls, campers range in age from 5 to 17 and SDP's begin their leadership programs at 14.
