Enjoy this new trail where we decided to hide a few new caches. This small lock 'n' lock container contains some travel bugs and other small items for trade. Logbook and pencil included. Return cache where hidden, and be aware of the prickers, probably going to be much worse in the summer.
The Jacob's Creek Trail offers close up views as well as scenic vistas of a one mile section of this well known Hopewell Valley creek from Pennington-Titusville Rd to Pennington-Harbourton Rd. The trail's main entrance is off Pennington-Titsuville Rd. A small section of the trail also extends south of the road. Please stay on the trail as this is the only part of the private easement that is open to the public. Jacob's Creek begins in Hopewell Township and ends at the Delaware River. Friends of Hopewell Valley Open Space have obtained easements along the creek to preserve its beauty and provide public access. Enjoy your hike in this new area, but please follow the posted signs for deer management in this area. Several days are closed to hikers. This trail states it is closed during hunting season, but the full trail is NOT closed per the FOHVOS, there is private property beyond where the cache is hidden. The owners of this property posted the signs not the FOHVOS.
