The deer flies in Lennox and Addington are HUGE! Active in late May, June and July, mostly during the day. These larger brownish flies that look similar to houseflies have a bite that really stings. They fly silently, too, unlike houseflies or mosquitoes.
When I hid this geocache I spotted the largest Deer Fly I have ever seen. Maybe you'll see it too?
