Geocache Description:

Another installment of “Views of Fallbrook” from your friends, Sons of Ben. “Highwayman” is one of the Sons of Ben’s favorite songs, the lyrics are fantastic (don’t tell the other Sons, but I sometimes get a little teary eyed listening to it), and the 395 is one of the Sons’ favorite highways, so.......there you go! Take care pulling on and off the road! PLEASE READ ALL DIRECTIONS AND LEAVE CACHE AS YOU FOUND IT!Good luck!

The Highwaymen were an American supergroup comprising four country music artists well known for, among other things, their involvement and pioneering influence on the outlaw country subgenre: Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson and Kris Kristofferson. Active between 1985 and 1995, these four artists recorded three major label albums as The Highwaymen: two on Columbia Records and one for Liberty Records. Their Columbia works produced three chart singles, including the Number One "Highwayman" in 1985.

“I was a highwayman. Along the coach roads I did ride
With sword and pistol by my side
Many a young maid lost her baubles to my trade
Many a soldier shed his lifeblood on my blade
The bastards hung me in the spring of twenty-five
But I am still alive”.
