You cant get to GZ from the Western Hwy because of road works. Welcome to Cactus Farm. Once upon a time, someone decided it would be good to grow a crop of prickly pear cactus here. There are eight rows of the cactus in a paddock approximately half a hectare in size. I wouldn't eat prickly pear cactus, but apparently the red fruit and the spiky leaves, or pads, are edible once the spikes are removed. At GZ you'll find a 2.5 L plastic screw-top jar cache. It contains a log, a pencil and a pen, and some swag. Please return the cache to where you found it, and remember to trade fair. Happy Geocaching!
