Throughout the week, I secretly visited the trails in PV near GZ after selecting a spot atop a hill that looks out over the ocean towards Catalina. I worked with Marko Ramius to have this cache posted at 10am on 1/24/14. It popped up just as quebecalgal and I were headed up to McBride for a hike, and she was really excited to finally have a shot at FTF :P We parked and headed down to the cache in a hurry. Within a few minutes, she made the find. Fresh with excitement over the FTF, I suggested we check out a hilltop we had never explored before. Little did she know, I had family set up the area I proposed to her complete with flowers, refreshments, snacks, and a gopro camera that I remotely turned on as we approached the site. We headed up there and had a nice time together enjoying the day, and when I asked, she said "yes!" :)
With the knowledge that there was a fresh cache nearby, we kept an eye out for approaching cachers, and eventually we spotted one. We headed down the knoll and introduced ourselves to a geocacher in the field for the first time - nice to meet you mpulele!

This is my first cache hide! I recently learnd of the world of geocaching through a couple friends who are into it. I've been cache hunting with them before, but this is my first hide that commemorates the start of my geocaching experiences.
This cache is located at a hiking junction into the Filiorium reserve. There are many beautiful views and trails to hike in the area. Spend the day and enjoy the scenery!
Parking located in nearby residential north of cache location, then you'll hike in a little ways.
