All caches except one are on public land and cannot be reached safely except by a human powered watercraft. Once winter arrives and the lake is solid ice, there will be other ways to reach our caches. Please leave the FTF for those participating in the event which starts on Thurs., July 17 at 10 am. All are welcome to join us!
The cache is close to the water on an old shore line on Crown land. The geocaching map will suggest that it is far from shore. Don't be fooled -- the current reality of high water is several years old.You are looking for a well cammoed small lock n lock with an unactivated coin for the FTF.
Ambitious paddlers can circle the lake for even more caches. Please note that the lake can get quite rough. Keep an eye on the weather. Due to the high water levels and beaver activity with many underwater logs, the caches will be hard to reach in motor boats.
