Geocache Description:

What a great view from the North Rock area of Anthony's Nose!

The Yaa Kee cache will bring you to the North Rock area of Anthony's Nose on the border of Westchester and Putnam counties. This is the spot we first bring Anthony's Nose rookies to, for their first view. (Then, we bring them out to the proper western view out on the ledge to really blow them away!) Anthony's Nose is marked on some older maps as Engagement Rock. Wonder why! BONUS: This North Rock area has at least 4 Geodetic Survey Markers for you benchmark hunters!

If you park at the bridge and come up the Appalachian Trail / Military Road route (junction at N41°19.438 W073°58.127, make a right on the way up), look out for the Mallard Tree at N41°19.430 W073°58.355. It's a tree that looks like a duck!

Yaa Kee is a 35mm film canister. Initial contents include log, pencil, stashnote, and three tiny rubber animals.
