"The Kapiti Coast Electric Tramway" (Wellington) Traditional Cache

The Wellington Tramway Museum society, which owns the Tramway, was incorporated in 1964 as a non-profit organisation to preserve tramcars and other items of tramway interest, to establish and operate a working tramcar museum and to foster an interest in tramways generally.

Wellington Tramways Museum. Vintage ex-Wellington City trams run from MacKay's Crossing to Whareroa Beach (2 km) and the museum is located at MacKay's Crossing. The Tramways Museum is open and trams are operating on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays (except Christmas Day) and daily throughout January and most other school holidays. The cache is a 400ml sistema containing a logbook and writing instrument only when placed and has room for swaps. The difficulty rating is the ability of retrieving the cache as it is placed in a very HIGH muggle location.
