As my wife, sons and I were recently enjoying a trip out to Antelope Island, we were chatting about the name "Ladyfinger", for the nearby peninsula pointing towards Egg / Seagull Island. I was telling Aubs that if we were to place a cache out here, we ought to call it "Do it like a Lady", after the Aerosmith song, which was a bit before my generation, but I remembered from the Robin William's film Mrs. Doubtfire (here's a link to the scene I'm referring to: Mrs. Doubtfire Song)

My wife starts laughing, and I ask her what's so funny... "You mean "Dude looks like a Lady," right? That's the name of the song." I chuckled, saying "Is THAT what they are singing? I always thought it was "Do it like a Lady"...huh." I've known several other people to make similar mistakes with lyrics, but this was one of the first times it had happened with me, and it was worth a good laugh. 
 Anyway, my wife looked it up to satisfy me, and sure enough, I was wrong, and she was right (note that down, folks...
).
Interesting Tidbit: this "misunderstanding of lyrics" is apparently so common, there's a term for it: they (and by "they", I mean linguists and other such language-snooty people) call it a mondegreen. If you have ever accidently created one of these, or heard another person accidentally create a mondegreen, please do share in your log!
Geocache Description:
We had several geocache containers with us, but considering the actual name of the song, we thought this particular one was appropriate. Follow the trail out to the top of the rocky outcropping, and you'll find this kid-friendly cache (note that the original song and lyrics aren't exactly kid friendly...) with some goodies. Most of the caches we've found out here are smaller in size, so we thought we'd add a larger one for the kiddos.

It is a short little jaunt out to the cache, but it is a nice spot to see the lake, and worth the trip. We hope you have a good laugh like we did as well!
