This cache is only for those interested in ADVENTURE! All others might want to try a nice "Park-n-Grab" cache in a parking lot somewhere.
Years ago I was able to follow the Trinity River all the way out into Lake Lewisville by canoe. The river has created two strips of land with forest on both sides so that it now flows out and protrudes into the middle of the lake. At the end a small river delta held thousands of birds. I have always remembered the unique environment and wanted to share it with others. If you love the outdoors, enjoy.
This cache should be a real challenge. You are on public land all the way. No special equipment is required, only determination. The reason for the 5 star rating is; most cachers will have to depend on their feet to reach this cache. You will have to cross a log, or two, or three, but it can be walked.
