This series is called "Like It or LUMP It". LUMP stands for LAME URBAN MINI POWERTRAIL
The reason this powertrail is lame is because it is difficult to do a power trail in an urban area. We don't have the luxury of having open spaces to do a long string of caches or geoart. So, although it's not ideal, it's the best I could do! Like it or LUMP it!
The caches are along the now defunct railways. Some of the areas are historical and there are some caches that give you information about that. (Big Red Cars GC2NVVF is my attempt at a historical cache about the railroads.)
I will add to this series as I can. There is no rhyme or reason to their order, so I won't number them. This is not the type or size of powertrail that you can power through like the famous ET Highway. It's probably best to do it in little sections, little mini walks or short drives, grab a couple here and there. Many of the caches are things that Penzee and I have found while out geocaching. I hope you enjoy yourself. If you don't enjoy it, at least you are getting smileys and adding to your numbers. All I can say is LIKE IT OR LUMP IT!
Congrats to bajatym for FTF!
