I thoroughly enjoyed this segment of the Bay Area Ridge Trail, so I thought I would add a couple more temptations to lead more people out here. For this one, you don't have to leave the trail or even lean down. You're looking for a test strips container, similar in size to a 35mm film container (if you're young, ask your parents what those are).
The trail is open until a half hour past sunset. From the parking, you can hike the whole 4.5 mile segment to Huddart Park if you have the time and energy, it is a beautiful trail.
