GenCuster: Many thanks to those who attended - and to those who apologised for being out of town on Boxing Day... [;)]

We had a great time - 14 people (15 - including a very due baby) plus BOSS - the not-so-average-dog - in a 1 bedroomed apartment.

We will hold more caches in Wellington in 2007 - keep those eyes peeled - with a CITO and a publicity event being planned as well as another attempt at one in Harcourt's Park - just so we can use the course I set up.

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Located in Harcourts park, Upper Hutt. We are getting together to relax with our families, play some frisbee golf and maybe have a bit of fun with our GPSr's.

Start time is 2pm. There are 3 public BBQ's there so if you want to come earlier with some lunch, feel free. There are two children's playgrounds - one for the wee ones and one for the not so wee ones. A toddlers pool is available, as are public toilets. And of course (sic.), the frisbee golf.

There will be a FTF prize (for the cacher who logs their intention to attend 1st and does actually attend - LOL), a fully stocked cache as a door prize, other prizes for games and skill tests that you will have to endure ;)

Come along and show us what Santa brought...
