Geocache Description:

A few caches along the South County Trail.  Trying to continue on with H2"O"s great work on the North County Trail.
A short walk from the parking location on a paved trail. Bring your own pen.

The South County Trailway is a 14.1-mile (22.7 km) long trail stretching from Van Cortlandt Park in The Bronx to Elmsford in Westchester, NY. Construction started in the 1990s and was completed in 2011.  Most sections of the trailway are paved.

Poison Ivy is very common along this trail, but I did my best to avoid it.

The cache is a camoed micro container.  You will not need to venture far from the path.

While here, I spotted 2 fish in the water much larger than I would have ever expected to see in the Saw Mill River.  So take a second and see what other surprises the area might hold.
