Part of the Icelandic Filming Location Geotrail. This cache is hidden at one of the filming locations of Á annan veg (Either Way) from 2011.
Á annan veg tells the story of Alfred and Finnbogi who are working together at road work. The Hollywood remake will soon be released, titled Prince Avalanche with Paul Rudd and Emile Hirsch.
The movie was mostly filmed at Dynjandisheiði, but the opening scene was filmed at the north-west corner of Kríuvötn. The cache is hidden on the opposite side of the lake (south east corner) and can be briefly seen in the movie. I'm told it was build as a ski resort.
Extra points if you upload a picture of yourself at the other side of the lake, approximately where the tent was (there is a screenshot in the cache).
The cache is rather big, so bring large swag to trade.
