Plan to spend an evening with fellow cachers and -- enjoy ice cream, too! Purchase at the store is optional and is not required to attend the event. This is an opportunity to get advice on a tricky cache, tell us your summer caching trip, or set up future caching plans with other cachers! East Campus is home to around a half dozen traditional caches and a few mysteries, too, if you want to arrive early and explore the area!
We will plan to meet at the Loerch Gazebo, located at the Maxwell Arboretum (posted event coordinates, just a few hundred feet east of the Dairy Store.) Should this area already be occupied, we will gather nearby in a grassy area. Plan to bring a lawn chair, but you might be able to leave it in the car (the gazebo has bench seating.) All cachers (and their families/guests) are welcome to attend.
Streetside metered parking is available both near the gazebo and the Dairy Store. The store offers both ice cream and some food items, and accepts cash and cards. The store is open until 9 p.m. No purchase is necessary to attend this event, so join us in the gazebo!
