[RO] Conform datelor scrise ale Diecezei Lugojului, parohia Greco-catolică din Cenadul Sârbesc s-a înfinţat în anul 1855, prin aderarea la Uniunea religioasă cu Biserica Romei, a circa 1000 de suflete. Terenul capelei a fost donat de Ducesa Mileva de San-Marco Nako din Comloşu Mare, pe acesta fiind ridicate şcoala şi capela. În anul 1903 această capelă încă funcţiona şi purta hramul Sf. Apostoli Petru şi Pavel. În anul 1902 casa parohială nu exista încă. Încă din anul 1863 greco-catolii şi-au deschis un cimitir propriu. Idea ridicării unei biserici proprii datează încă din anul 1868. Biserica parohială actuală datează din anul 1911, edificiul fiind ridicat într-un stil sobru, neo-clasic de inspiraţie barocă. În interior se remarcă iconostasul frumos lucrat, tot de inspiraţie neo-clasică. Şcoala Greco-catolică s-a deschis în anul 1855, şi în anul 1894 s-a mutat într-o clădire nouă, învăţătorul îndeplinind concomitant si serviciul de cantor. Primul învăţător s-a numit Iacob Lazăr.
[EN] According to historical data, the Greek-Catholic congregation from the Serbian Cenad was founded in 1855, by the admission to the Church of Rome of about 1,000 believers. The chapel’s land was donated by the Duchess Mileva by San-Marco Nako from the village of Comloşu Mare, on this land being raised the school and the chapel. In 1093 this chapel still functioned and has the patron saints of St. Peter and Paul. The presbytery did not exist in 1902. The Greek Catholics opened their own cemetery in 1863. The idea of building a own church dates back to 1868. The present church dates to 1911, the building being raised in a austere, neo-classic Baroque style. Inside, the beautifully elaborated altarpiece, also of neo-classical inspiration, is remarkable. The Greek-Catholic school opened in 1855 and moved to a new building in 1894, the master being at the same time and singing in the church. The first master was Iacob Lazar.
