The Professor's Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Krypton: As there's been no response to my previous note, I assume that the cache is not going to be repaired or replaced, so I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us, and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it

Thanks for your cooperation!

Geocache Description:

An easy stroll in a pretty location.

“The Professor’s Cache”

This is a cache site set up in honor of my dad, a retired biology professor. Dad brought many of his classes here to learn about life at the shoreline. He was, and still is, instrumental in the education and lives of so many people.

If you have a question about this beautiful area, go ahead and write it in the logbook. I’m sure Dad would be happy to help you learn more about the marshes and mudflats!

Note from hcat: The problem with the park district has been resolved and the ranger who confiscated the cache has returned it to its original location. It is not on East Bay Regional Park land, but on Hayward Area Recreational Department land on the Hayward Shoreline. The placement of the cache has been approved by the administration of HARD.
Reminder: Please do not disrupt, disturb or destroy the habitat/environment around or leading to ANY cache area or we all may continue to lose geocaching privileges.
