Geocache Description:

There aren't many geocaches in the middle of the island. We sought to remedy that.

My son, George, turned 10 this year during our family's annual trip to SPI. We recently started geocaching and he wanted to hide a cache for his birthday to commemorate the first decade of his life. The cache is a small, blackened spice bottle. There are a few items:

a turtle from a mood ring purchased at the Turtle Rescue center on the Island
an Oklahoma quarter to commemorate our home state
a dime for George's first 10 years
a shell from the beach

We hid it at an address near his birthday of 5.31.03. This is GEOrge's CACHE. If you would say "Hi" or "Happy Birthday" (or similar) to George in your log, I'd appreciate it.
