Välkomna till Tännäs tre fjäll! Fjällen i Tännäs består av tre stycken krök; Hemkröket, Mellankröket och Östestkröket. Enligt en gammal saga blev kröken till då en jätte blev rasande över att kyrkan i Tännäs byggdes. Han stod med fötterna i Dalarna och slungade ursinnigt iväg hela fjäll för att krossa kyrkan, men missade. Så gick det till när Tännäs fick sina fjäll och kyrkan står än idag kvar och är Sveriges högst belägna. Welcome to the three mountains in Tännäs! There are three mountains in Tännäs and they are named Hemkröket, Mellankröket and Östestkröket. According to an old fairytale, the mountains came into existance when a giant was furious that the church was built in Tännäs. He stood with his feet in Dalarna and hurled furiously away entire mountains to destroy the Church, but missed. That was what happened when Tännäs got its mountains and the church is still there and is the highest located in Sweden.
