This cache is located in Prince's Point
State Wildlife Area that is part of a wetlands reclaiming project.
This area is also a public hunting grounds. You will want to
wear some blaze
orange and bring bug spray during bug season. Oh, and some
boots you won't mind getting wet if you aren't watching your step!
Seek this geocache at your own risk.
This is a great spot for viewing some
wildlife. When I first visited here, there were Sandhill Cranes
flying overhead which gave me the idea for this cache where people
could learn a little bit more about cranes. When we returned to
place the cache box, we saw geese, ducks, white-tailed deer, and
heard woodpeckers.
To find the coordinates for the cache box,
you need to do a little web sleuthing before heading out. All
answers for the following questions can be found at the website for
the International
Crane Foundation (www.savingcranes.org). If you have trouble
with the questions, feel free to email me.
