35 Steps Over The Bridge Traditional Cache
redkitegar: I have recently had a spell in hospital due to large blood clots on both lungs and my condition is slow to improve and can only walk short distances these days so am unable to take part in geocaching activities.

This container is smalle to which I have attached a magnet . It's located on a Public Footpath that starts on the Bethel to Llanrug road. Just a short walk from the roadway to the bridge then up and over the bridge to GZ. The short walk from the road to the bridge is easy enough and not as muddy as the other side. The cache is now slightly above ground level..
To get to this cache it's necessary to cross over a bridge that was once a footbridge over a railway line used to carry slates from the Dinorwic Quarry at Llanberis to the docks at Portdinorwic (Y Felinheli). To do the short walk to this cache I parked near a farm entrance – at N53.09.710 / W004.12.135 – but it is possible to park on the straight stretch nearer to the metal gate and Pubic Footpath sign. The bridge can be seen from the suggested parking area and has 18 slate steps leading up and 17 down the other side. Once down the other side you are at GZ. THE CACHE IS NOT LOCATED IN OR ON THE WALL, The fields are farmland so any dogs must be on a lead. Because of the steps this is not suitable for wheelchairs pushchairs or buggies. There are great views from the top of the bridge – in all directions!! so spend a few minutes here on your way to the cache or on the way back.
