A regular cache hidden within the confines of Muttrah Fort overlooking the harbor.
Muttrah Fort, guarding the entrance to the harbor of Muttrah, has for centuries been a military installation. Only recently it has been open to the public between 09:00 am and 4:00 pm. The fort was built by the Portuguese in 1580 and boasts three towers and a great rampart providing unrivalled views over the harbor and the surrounding city. An impressive collection of ancient canons line the rampart and point to the historical significance of this fort. There is a small parking area at the entrance of the fort as shown below, but the entrance can easily be reached on foot coming from the Corniche boulevard. Although a nominal entrance fee is posted, often enough the guard allows you to enter for free.
A regular cache has been hidden within the confines of the fort. Please hide it in exactly the same way as you found it to keep it out of sight of the many muggles that visit this unique tourist destination
