Inskriptionen lyder: "Åfrid lät åt Svarthövde och åt Igulfast, sina söner, och åt Åsgöt".
Det är en typisk lydelse, man berättar vem som rest stenen / ristat hällen, och åt vem, och personernas relation. Ristaren har sparat på jobbet genom att inte skriva "Åfrid lät rista ..." utan bara "Åfrid lät".
Här framgår inte riktigt vilken relation Åsgöt hade till Åfrid, kanske var de varandras makar.
En annan detalj är att "och" stavats på två olika sätt.
För att hitta cachen:
Intill ristningen finns en metallskylt på en stolpe.
I övre högra hörnet står ett tvåsiffrigt tal.
