Educational Cache Info: (beech trees)
This big dead hollow tree is a beech tree, and can be identified by its smooth gray bark. Unfortunately, beech trees are often vandalized by people carving into their thin bark which can introduce disease and bacteria, thus killing the tree. Please resist the urge to make your mark!
