Original container celebrated the 4th of July, one of our fav holidays. Now it's all about the BFF All-Americans, Lucy and Diamond! Watch out for the nearby barbed wire at N42 55.038 W088 19.155 and thorns, approach from east. *3/15/20 All is good, but is there a rock out of place? ;)
This small cache was originally filled with all things patriotic, to celebrate the freedom we enjoy. Now it's dedicated to two pretty special All-Americans and BFF pups, Lucy and Diamond! These two do everything together...can we hum along the Beatles song "Lucy in the (fill in the blank) with Diamond!" Our girls are both mixed breeds, hence their performance AKC breed titles of "All-American", and we wouldn't have it any other way! Please watch out for the nearby barbed wire at N42 55.038 W088 19.155. Happy hunting! ***3/15/20 all is good, but is there a rock out of place? ;) There are two nearby areas to park, either N42 55.197 W088 19.586 or N42 55.323 W088 19.258, depending on which caches you want to start with and be close to. I'd recommend the latter, near Molly's cache and right off Hwy. I. Dog friendly area, be mindful of seasonal hunters. Use bug spray and check for ticks. The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Waukesha County office of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager.
