Geocache Description:

For the most part, you can stay in your car as you drive this truly beautifully designed and well-maintained cemetery.  As with all cemeteries, please be respectful.  Calculating the final location will most be an exercise of simple math. The final is not on cemetery property or its perimeter.

You need to gather information from the waypoints listed and solve for the final location which is at:

N42 5A.BCD  W77 1E.FGH

The posted coordinates serve as the waypoint for letter A. Here are the instructions for all the waypoints.

A)  On the fourth line you will see a year. A = the last digit of that year.

B) You may have to walk a short distance for this. At the coordinate you should see a year.  Multiply the first 2 digits by the second 2 digits to get a three-digit number.  Then add the first digit to the third digit to arrive at letter B.  (For example,   => 20 x 20 = 400  => 4 + 0 = 4)

C)  Here you will see a stone with 2 three-digit numbers. Add the six numbers to yield a two-digit answer. Use the first digit of your answer for letter C.  (For example, 983 127 => 9 + 8 + 3 + 1 + 2 +7 = 30 => 3)

D) Find James who died September 12. Another person is listed below his name. Below that name are two words. Letter D is the number of letters in those two words.

E) At this stop you will see a tall marker with the name "Anderson".  There are several smaller stones between your car and this marker. From your viewpoint, what is the year of death on the marker closest to the tall one (initials are J.A). Use the last digit for letter E.

F) Here you will see a large marker with the names "YEO" and "WOLVERTON".  Like the prior stop, look for the smaller stone closest to the large marker. Use the second digit of the year of BIRTH for letter F.

G) Now you are at the grave of the most prominent people in local history.  On the right side, take the 2 numbers of the day  in December shown and add them together  (For example December 15 => 1 + 5 = 6).    On the left side, locate the mothers first name and subtract the number of letters in the name from your answer to the right side. This is letter G.

H) Here you will see a black marker with several individuals listed. In addition, there is a prominent two-digit number not related to a date on this stone. Subtract the smaller digit from the larger and multiply by 2 to get letter H.

Having exercised your math skills, visited a couple of historic markers, and seen how nice a cemetery Woodlawn is you are only a short drive away from the final location and claiming your find.
