Southeast Missouri State University and the Greater Saint Louis Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America annually co-host the STEM on CAMPus event. Scouts attend an intensive, three-day symposium focused on STEM-related merit badges and NOVA science awards. The Scouts get a taste of college living while sleeping and eating in the University’s residence halls. Scouts receive technical instruction from University professors and personnel utilizing the institution’s polytechnic labs. This cache set serves Scouts in the Geocaching Merit Badge class, and assists them in learning about hiding, maintaining, and finding caches.
This medium cache serves as a rest stop for travel bugs visiting the Southeast campus. It is located in a small green space near the University's Show-Me Center, home of the Redhawks men's and women's basketball squads. Please DO NOT take a travel bug if you do not intend to move it along.
Parking is available very close by, except during events at the Show-Me Center.
