See park note below re:hazards. Large plastic box. Located c.100 feet off Lower Falls Trail. Walk LEFT of large rock formation, then cache is on right quite far down. D level 2 due to rocks making gps bouncy and also due to several possible hiding places. T level 3 due to fact that last 100 feet to cache are extremely steep downhill.PLEASE REPLACE CACHE INSIDE THE CAVE IF YOU FIND THAT SOMEONE ELSE HAS PLACED IT OUTSIDE NEAR THE TREE WHERE IT IS NOT PROTECTED FROM THE ELEMENTS. SEE NOTE BELOW.
PLEASE PLACE IN SLIGHT RECESS ON RIGHT AS YOU ENTER THE CAVE AS THAT IS THE RIGHT LOCATION. TRAIL VERY STEEP AND SLIPPERY. BRING FLASHLIGHT - it is a cave after all...... TREES GROWING OUTSIDE CACHE CAVE ARE HELPFUL in FINDING RIGHT PLACE Trail portion of walk is slightly sloped. Do not approach cache from below.DNR approved. In Cunningham Falls State Park. Friendly disclaimer:By searching for my cache, you are assuming all responsiblitly for your actions.Last 100 feet of route to cache very steep and rocky.Even though the cache is not far from the trail, this park is home to the usual hazards of the outdoors including spiders, in this case 2 species of poisonous snakes,poison ivy,rocks slippery almost all the time(PARTICULARLY BEWARE OF SLIPPERY MOSS and SLIPPERY FALL LEAVES!), loose when dry, etc. A flashlight, while not necessary, may help as the location can be quite dark even in daylight. The name for this cache will be obvious when you locate it. I have volunteered at the local animal shelter and love animals so when I found this spot I immediately knew what to call it even though I doubt too many animals shelter here. The theme is love and care of animals and I hope the swag will mainly be animal related. Please "trade even or up". I intend to keep it well stocked with goodies. The hint tells you kind of exactly where cache is so don't read it unless you really need it as it will be less fun searching!
