Miner Meeting House Rd Traditional Cache

This Geocache was placed by Second Baptist Church's Jr. Youth Group. We needed some activities to do during club so we decided to start geocaching. We placed it near the church because then it would be easy to maintain for them. An interesting fact; Stillman Rd was once known as "Miner Meeting House Rd" as Second Baptist Church was known as "The Miner Meeting House" (and still is to some). The church was organized in 1765, it was officially incorporated and the name was changed from “The Miner Meeting House” to “Second Baptist Church” in 1917. The church will be celebrating it's 250th anniversary in 2015.
