L'eremo di San Salvatore è un luogo di ritiro spirituale dell'Istituto secolare Cristo Re.
Costruito nel 1536 da un gruppo di frati Cappuccini a più riprese (nel 1562 fu consacrata la chiesa dall’allora Vescovo di Ivrea Monsignor Gerolamo Ferraguti), fino al 1810 il convento fu molto attivo e fequentato.
Tuttavia, nel 1810, Napoleone I decretò la chiusura del convento, della chiesa e la sua totale e completa evacuazione. Da allora il convento perse la sua natura di luogo di preghiera e di silenzio, rimanendo abbandonato a se stesso fino a quando, nel 1952, Luigi Dossi ed Enrico Camurati acquistarono la struttura e la riportarono, lentamente, all’antico scopo e splendore; l'ultima ristrutturazione risale al 1995-1996.
Oggi l'eremo (che ospita anche la tomda di Giuseppe Lazzati, un tempo rettore dell'Università Cattolica di Milano e morto nel 1986) dà la possibilità di ospitare gruppi di persone o singoli che desiderano raccogliersi in preghiera e nel silenzio, dal momento che dispone di ben 45 posti letto suddivisi in diverse stanze di cui, alcune, anche singole. Visitabile solo su rischiesta, è circondato da uno splendido parco immerso nel verde e gode di un'ottima posizione, da cui si possono ammirare splendidi panorami di Erba, dei laghi di Pusiano e Alserio e, più in generale, di parte dell'Alta Brianza fino ai confini di Milano.
E' raggiungibile in due modi: tramite la strada quasi interamente asfaltata e carrozzabile, ma solo per autorizzati.
Dal WP_1 proseguire fino a raggiungero uno spiazzo poco prima della sbarra. Da qui sono poco più di 1.5 km di salita quasi totalmente asfaltata, solo l'ultimo tratto è sterrato ma ben tenuto.
Oppure tramite un antico sentiero acciottolato e non carrozzabile, ma più breve totalmente immerso nella vegetazione.
Il cache è situato poco più avanti del parcheggio, continuare per la mulattiera.
E' ben nascosto, si prega cortesemente di riposizionarlo al medesimo posto e soprattutto di coprirlo bene, non lasciando niente in vista, grazie.

The hermitage of San Salvatore is a place of retreat of the secular Christ the King
Built in 1536 by a group of Capuchin friars, on several occasions (in 1562 the church was consecrated by the Bishop of Ivrea Monsignor Jerome Ferraguti), until in 1810 the monastery was very active and fequentato.
However, in 1810, Napoleon decreed the closure of the convent, the church and its full and complete evacuation. Since then, the monastery lost its nature as a place of prayer and silence, being left to itself until, in 1952, Luigi and Enrico Camurati Dossi bought the structure and reported, slowly, to its purpose and splendor; l 's restructuring dates back to 1995-1996.
Today, the Hermitage (which also houses the tomda Giuseppe Lazzati, once rector of the Catholic University of Milan and died in 1986) gives the possibility to accommodate groups of people or individuals who wish to gather in prayer and silence, since has 45 beds divided into several rooms of which, some, even singles. Open only on specified, is surrounded by a beautiful park surrounded by greenery and enjoys an excellent location from which you can admire splendid views of Erba, the lakes and PUSIANO Alserio and, more generally, of part of the Brianza to the ends of Milan.
Is reachable in two ways: by the way almost entirely asphalt and road, but only for authorized.
From WP_1 continue to reach a clearing just before the barrier. From here are little more than 1.5 km climb almost entirely paved, only the last part is steep but well kept.
Or via an old cobbled path and road, but soon totally immersed in the vegetation.
The cache is located just below the car park, continue along the path.
