Geocache Description:

If the "Cache Name" box had allowed more characters, this would have been its full title:-
Curse of the FTF Leeds #9 Sidetracked Middleton Railway Motorway Mayhem Junction 5 M621 Leeds Tri-Genre Cache

The First Time Finder was BoogieSnot

This small click and lock box cache is a "Leeds FTF Curse of" and is situated by the disused Middleton Railway Track by the M621.

Its a very short mystery that will be made clear if you find the clue at the above co-ordinates. However, it is a bit tricky finding your way onto the footpaths.

The Side Tracked association is with the Middleton Railway that was established in 1758. More information can be found by following this link

The Motorway Mayhem association is with the M621 The first section of the M621 to open, known at the time as the 'South West Urban Motorway', was opened in 1971.

It goes without saying but we will say it anyway:-
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO GO TO THIS CACHE FROM THE MOTORWAY

Re The Cursed bit - guess you will all know the score by now but to comply with rule #4.....:-

1. FTF'er should place the next cache in the series (in this case, Curse of the FTF Leeds Cache Series #10) Please note only the FTF'er should place the next cache and not every time someone finds the cache.

2. You can only be a FTF for this series once. This spreads the FTF love around, and gives others a chance to play along. (This is at least till everyone has had ago at FTF who wants to - which could be some time soon)

3. Cache can be any size or type of cache (Puzzle, Multi, etc.), but please set it in Leeds Area and if it is a puzzle, then it should not be too hard as it should be easy enough for everyone to find.

4. You must include this set of guidelines in your listing for the series. Check out Geocaching site for rules on placing of caches to those who have not placed a cache before. By way of clarification, there is no requirement besides the standard signing of the cache log to prevent you from logging this cache when found. Everyone should log their find, and hopefully the FTF person will play along and place another cache, but it is in no way a requirement for logging your find. But if you don't intend to carry on the series please do not FTF and leave it for someone else.
